Works fine, has no function issues. Screen crack, plus minor use scuffs (pictured) are all superficial damage. Bought and used in Japan prior with Softbank. It is network locked (needs to be unlocked) with softbank. Note that iphone 5, by design, cannot support more than ISO 10 (max ver is 10.3.4), and thus cannot be used for spotify.
