Vintage Shane 60s Tracker style surfboard 7' 10". This one i believe may have been one of Shanes personsal boards as its marked SS on the bottom, see photo. Board is in fair condition with its fair share of battle scars, but still solid, glassed heavily in volan. Surfs nicely from what i remember, hasnt been in the water in years. A genuine piece of Australian surfing history. The first custom signature body board to be produced here. Lightweight foam core hand shaped by "Flog". Ross Hawkes pioneered surfing in Tasmania and was a regular at Pipeline. The board carries the hand signature of Mike Stewart, another surfing legend from Hawaii, suggesting this board may have been in competition.
