Wisden not only became famous for playing cricket for Sussex and publishing the Cricketer's Almanack but his company was also a significant maker of golf clubs. This club is called "The Royal" and Wisdens made these from 1906 to 1910. The club is approximately 112cm long and it has a wound leather grip. - 1910s Hickory Shafted Mashie Hand Forged in Scotland by W. A. G. Horn1910-20 hickory handled mashie hand forged by W. A. G. Horn of London & St Andrews for Murdoch's of Sydney. The club is 95cm long and it has a dark green wound leather grip in good condition. A line around the circumference of the shaft near the end of that grip and a small nail hole next to it indicates that the green leather is probably not the stick's original grip. Hickory shafted mid-iron called a Rangefinder made between about 1925 and 1930 by J. Donaldson Manufacturing Company Ltd. in Glasgow, Scotland. The head is oval shaped on the bottom and has a dotted face pattern. On the back of the head is "MID IRON" over "140/170 YARDS". - Antique Hickory Shaft Brass&Steel Mallet Head Putter Scotland 1920Antique hickory shafted brass and steel Special putter hand forged by Alex Patrick from Leven, Fife in Scotland around 1920. A. Patrick, Leven was established in 1847. The steel on the putter face is 2.25 inches long flecked with horizontal dashes in the middle 1.5 inches with a single row of vertical dashes on either side.
