They were just opened but never used, I mostly use my gel polishes so didn't need to use them because of my own preference, I brought it for personal use so never got the chance to really use them, this was my second time using this brand and I love them. Antique dresser. Likely Edwardian or Victorian; Dad said it was already old when he was a boy in the 1930s. In constant use for over 100 years, but I can't keep it in the family. So here it is. The nails and screws seem to be machine made, decoration is hand-carved, the mirror is good and the original brass drawer pulls might help expert dating. Keys to locks are missing. About 92 cm wide, 50 cm deep , 81 cm tall (147cm to top of mirror). OK to inspect/collect in Canberra almost any time.

An early 1900s W Woodroofe Ltd, Norwood, SA clear straight glass lemonade bottle. This bottle is about 25.5cm high with an 8.5cm diameter base. This bottle appears to have been used for storing copper nails as there are still a couple in it. There is also, an early port wine barrel-shaped bottle which still has it's original label and cork stopper. The label on the port bottle indicates it was produced by Alexander & Paterson, a Melbourne wine merchant which distributed it's own wine products

Made in Birmingham in 1912 possibly by Dixon & Sons. They were primarily cutlers and silversmiths in Sheffield but did register some silverware at the Birmingham assay office during that time. It weighs 26 grams, ie including the silk buffer and padding. Postage would be extra.

Postage is extra. Cash if picking up locally in Canberra. Vintage small AMAMI tin (42 x 32 x 12 mms) containing a nail polishing stone which is supposed to impart a pearly lustre to nails. The tin was manufactured in England. The tin indicates "2.5 drms NET (10 grammes)". 2.5 drams is only 4.3 grams so maybe this means the polishing stone weighs 2.5 drams and the tin weighs 5.7 grams to make the 10 grams.

Postage is extra. Cash if picking up locally in Canberra. Antique plated steel nail clippers in a small long leather purse with a plated steel frame and clasp. It is all very cleverly made. The actual nail clipping blades are at the end of a V and the V is the spring which is opened and closed with a metal lever, pressing down to clip nails. That lever is clasped to the base when not in use. The clippers are approximately 6.5cm long and it's leather purse is about 9cm long.
