Cased 3 Piece Christening Set Sterling Silver Birm 1881

A high quality Christening Set set made in England 1881. Each piece is hallmarked Birmingham 1881 & struck with the makers stamp "H & T" (Hillard & Thomason - Spencer Street Birmingham). The handles are sterling silver. The knife measures 5 1/4 inches, the spoon 5 1/4 inches & the fork 4 1/2 inches. The set is complete with its original leather bound fitted case. The quality of manufacture is superlative & the condition is good & original.

Secretaire Bookcase Circa 1850

A formal two height, cantilever secretaire bookcase of elegant proportions figured in flame mahogany. It is a quality build that was made in London between 1845 & 1855. The structure is solid honduras mahogany. The backing boards, which are bolection panelling, & shelving are fine grade baltic pine. Dimensions are 7'6" x 4'. The secretaire drawer front is fielded with a burr mahogany panel which is segregated from figured crossbanding by ogee recessed moulding & finished in pencil cockbeading.

Offered for sale is an original, signed Australian Cedar Lawyer's Wardrobe. It is original, complete & unmodified. It shows two original ink on paper labels "HENRY WOOLLEY Cabinet Maker, Upholsterer, & Decorator 419, GEORGE-ST., SYDNEY". A label has been applied to the inside of each door. This particular label, showing the address of 419 George Street, represented the workshop trading period 1851 to 1853. Brass Coffee Pot

A rare European Coffee Pot of high quality & heavy build. It stands 9" tall, weighs 902g & presents in pristine condition. It was made in Western Europe in the early 20th Century. Sterling Silver Fish Set 1901

A rare & original cased set of game fish servers dated 1901. Both server & fork are solid sterling silver - no silver plate or tool steel. Each piece is hallmarked Sheffield 1901 & bears the makers stamp of "SB" (Stainton Bros) to the ferrule. Handles are the finest, genuine "White Bone" & are substantial. An Hot Water Pot of traditional baluster form that is heavily made & of commercial quality. It stands 7" tall & holds 1 1/2 pints. It presents in good condition except for small, superficial damage as shown. It was made circa 1930 by silversmiths Walker & Hall New Zealand. These pots are widely used as teapots & coffee pots.
