#855 AUSTRALIAN NAVY BRASS SHIPS BULKHEAD LAMP. The lamp is dated 1944, has the broad arrow indicating military use, stamped Holder & Stroud Sydney. This is a very heavy brass lamp designed to attach to bulkheads in a ship, see fitting on back. Readily comes apart for cleaning and or repairs. In very good original condition with excellent porcelain enamel reflector in back of lamp. It has an inscription on the back CDS 27. The brass would polish up beautifully if new owner so desired. #1034 This is an extremely rare 1920 PERKO Torpedo Boat Destroyer Masthead Brass Kerosene Lantern by Perkins Marine Lamp & Hardware Co of Brooklyn, New York. It has a Corning glass globe. This lantern is pictured as Figure 68A in the 1920 Perko Catalog 5 on page 22. This lantern was made specifically for torpedo boat destroyers and not the regular commercial market, and thus it is quite rare. 1930s Vintage Wicker Chinese Tea Basket lined in gold and black flora
Vintage Chinese Rattan woven Basket with Brass fittings and stunning jacquard fabric interior in black with a jacquard gold floral pattern. Purchased whilst living in Hong Kong back in 1995, this basket has been with me ever since. Origin 1930s / 1940s. I believe these baskets were originally designed to house a tea set.
