Massive copper kettle with huge spout & serious hinge for lid. Great for stove top use (after cleaning out) or as a decoration. Not sure if it is home-made or factory made & hinge put on later? Genuine antique Roslyn brand Ice chest. This has been in the family since I was a kid & I am now 127. Was professionally French polished a number of years ago so is in fabulous condition. Pretty sure it is oak. You lifted the top lid & put in the block of ice, then anything you wanted to keep cold went in the door & ice melted through tube into tray at bottom. Seafarers trunk from a shed cleanout with fabulous rope handles. Been in my shed for years & have run out of room so it has to go. Has a lot of patina – yes a bit worn but that is the charm. Yes a bit worn on the bottom but is all original. Pretty sure it was a tool trunk but no evidence on that except the timber block in the inside with two holes in it. Genuine Swiss Army water bottle & cup from about 60’s to 70’s. A friend of mine is selling off his entire collection of army stuff & this is one of them.
