Featuring intricate brass inlay work on a red tortoiseshell ground, with remnants of the old gold gilding on the brass mounts. In good condition, though does need a some minor work. It is missing the top compartments that would have been on it originally, but still makes a lovely piece of period furniture. The top needs re finishing as you will see in the photo's. The oak drawers are dove tailed and have birds eye paneling inlays.

This lovely English Oak bureau has been professionally restored to its former glory.
