Magnificent 1930s BAKELITE TELEPHONE in Fully Restored Condition
Bakelite telephone, circa 1935, known as the ‘King Pyramid’ telephone as installed by the Postmaster General (PMG) during the 1930’s and early 1940’s. These were the first Australian telephones to be constructed using Bakelite for the case and handset. This particular example is in magnificent, fully working condition.
