A high quality Christening Set set made in England 1881. Each piece is hallmarked Birmingham 1881 & struck with the makers stamp "H & T" (Hillard & Thomason - Spencer Street Birmingham). A quality set hallmarked Sheffield 1855 & stamped "HH". The makers Harrison Bros & Howson were registered silversmiths at Norfolk St. Sheffield. They were first registered in 1849 & traded from 1854 - 1895. This set is heavily built & presents in original, undamaged condition.

A rare & original cased set of game fish servers dated 1901. Both server & fork are solid sterling silver - no silver plate or tool steel. Each piece is hallmarked Sheffield 1901 & bears the makers stamp of "SB" (Stainton Bros) to the ferrule. Handles are the finest, genuine "White Bone" & are substantial.
