Antique (Fully Restored) Western Qld Cedar Meat / Food Safe, circa 1920s. Depth - 39 cm, Width - 88 cm, Height - 133 cm Originally purchased in Yarraman and restored in 2008, the internal shelf is not original and is hand made from milled cyprus from Vic. An antique Huon pine meat safe cabinet refurbished. The style and features on the cabinet also hints to a date of early 1900’s ? . Pick up is oxley 4075 (approx 14km cbd) . Up for sale is "Jackaroo" a stunning antique BARTLETT number 4 rocking horse. Circa1937, from my wife's collection. Restored about 10 years ago. He does have some very fine joint cracks which is unavoidable with wood in Qld. This does not effect his use and only adds to his appeal. He is 87 years old. Very old photograph in a picture frame. Also a small photo of possibly the same lady as in large. Below is an expert opinion. The smaller photograph of the lady broken in half is what is referred to as a cabinet photo. They are portraits taken in photographic studios often of people before they embarked to come to Australia from England. The resulting photo is then mounted on thick cardboard.
