This solid wool sorting table spent many decades in the woodshed of a sheep farm in Western Victoria. Over that time, many thousands of fleeces would have been on the table, through many shearings. These tables are rapidly becoming very difficult to find across Australia, especially in this condition. As you can see from the pics, this one is not only very solid, but still on its original legs. Dining table: probably early 1970s decorative metal frame with original glass top. Glass just lifts off. Frame is a bit loose and probably just needs screws tightening. Frame can be disassembled easily. 146x82x72 H 8 Chairs: the 8 original chairs are not in good condition. Would require repairs and most require re-upholstering in order to be safe and comfortable. NOT CURRENTLY SAFE TO SIT ON. This set is therefore sold for next to nothing to a collector or upholsterer. Pick up only.

An excellent table wine or cooking decanter circa 1890s in perfect original condition. No cracks, chips, or wear. Stopper is a perfect air-tight fit and original to the decanter; which is rare. Too often the stopper is either damaged or lost. I used this decanter in my kitchen to hold wines for cooking purposes. It's suitable for the dining table: 'passing the Port'. Size: H: 29cm, W: 14cm.
