Posts from Armidale. Unusual vintage African Elephant sculpture mounted on a solid woodblock. Art Deco period, c. 1940’s - 70’s. Not sure what the elephant is carved from but not ivory or bone. Appears to be either jade or alabaster material. It is heavy.
