Two Chiness door paintings
Two painted Chinese Doors We have two painted & glazed doors, each approx 97cm H x 66cm W of traditional oriental scenes. One door depicts an ancient battle scene with a lion at the top, while the other purportedly depicts the prophet Muhammad, accompanied by a follower. The face of the prophet is blank, as it was prohibited to show this in a depiction of Muhammed.
