This Christening outfit is almost 50 years old but in excellent condition as it has been carefully stored. It fitted my son at 4 months of age and much more recently, my granddaughter at 11 months of age. It is made from cotton, hand smocked (which allows elasticity) and hand embroidered. It comes with a plain cotton slip and a bonnet, also hand smocked and embroidered. The dress buttons and ties at the back and the slip press studs at the shoulders. From the neckline the dress is 800mm long. P
