I’m a huge fan of BYK bikes for kids as they are SO much lighter and more ergonomically designed than typical cheap children’s bikes. This 3 gear red BYK 540 is in moderate shape (some rust and scapes, missing chain cover) but in excellent riding condition and has plenty of life left. Front and rear lever brakes, and 3 gears all working. Recommended by manufacturer for children aged 7-11 (height: 129 - 160 cms). BYK KIDS BIKE E450. My daughter has really enjoyed this bike but now out grown it. The gears change smoothly, the brakes work fine, it’s a great learning bike. 7-speed gears so hills are a breeze. BYK E250 14” kids bike, this bike is well used with plenty of scratches and marks. I bought it second hand as a learner for my 2 - 4 year olds and it’s been the best bike for learning by far compared to other bikes we tried. It still rides well and has a removable parents handle also.
