Body is rough, but mechanically A1 and cheap to run. Always serviced at dealership with books to support it. Had a CV fixed when I bought it and fixed up a few minor things. Some problems that still remain. -Central locking only works with key and not the fob -Water not coming through wiper system -Aerial not working -Airbag light stays on, books say due to needing a service Nice cool A/C and comes with a few spare rims and tyres. Can contact on for any further information.

RWC! Car was a deceased estate find. Daughter spent a fortune, over $6000, getting a roadworthy. Only to be offered another car. So sold this one to me. Hyundia sent owner to Pedders to tick off roadworthy. Car was effectively replaced with everything brand new underneath. New: disc pads, discs, calipers, struts, engine mounts, stabiliser, wiper blades, brakes bled, wheel alignment, exhaust and catalytic converter, belts and fan belt, tyres, engine rubber hoses. Plus, a brand new Sony bluetooth

WHAT TO LOOK OUT FOR: HYUNDAI ELANTRA (2011 TO 2015)

Plenty to like about the Elantra from a reliability point of view, backing up the reputation that Hyundai was trying hard to forge at this point in history.

On the interior, check that the steering wheel leather hasn't started to peel and make sure the silver highlights scattered around the cabin haven't begun to peel or flake off.

Check that the brake lights are working properly, as this was another problem for various Hyundais at this time. This was eventually traced back to a switch terminal in the wiring loom and could also lead to other problems including non-starting, inability to select a gear in the automatic version and even the cruise-control refusing to work.

Hyundai dealers were fitting a revised terminal to eliminate these problems.
