Amazing smooth car to drive (one of the best i have driven). One of the most reliable cars on the road. It is in excellent condition inside and out. Would be a perfect first car or a runabout. Would keep but we dont have a need for two cars, so we’re looking for someone who will give it a good home. Just had a major service and drives amazingly. Service included: new rear brakes, spark plugs, air and oil filters and new brake switch. Don't miss any of these features: Full service history Lo

Selling My Mazda 6 GT Top of the range with 9 months of registration Immaculately maintained throughout its life. Always serviced on time and complete service history will be provided and run on RON 98 All brake pads installed are DBA and Front rotors are also DBA slotted discs. K&N air filter is being used which just needs to cleaned after every oil change. I have loved this car and kept it as a baby. Tyres were always rotated every 10k and are also in immaculate condition.

WHAT TO LOOK OUT FOR: MAZDA 6 (2012 to 2016)

Fundamentally a well built car, the Mazda 6 has a pretty good reputation for reliability.

The automatic transmission is one area we'd pay close attention to, though, as there have been reports of failures.

Diesel-particulate filters and their requirement to be cleaned out periodically have been a long-term bug-bear in Mazda (and other modern) diesels.

The computer's way to do this is to inject more fuel into the engine to regenerate the filter, but sometimes that extra fuel finds its way into the sump where it dilutes the engine's lubricant.

But Mazda did develop revised software to help prevent this happening, so it would be wise to check with a dealer to see if a particular vehicle is running the upgraded program.

Mazda is hardly alone with this problem and it's a common one in new-age diesels that only get driven around the suburbs.
