Great reliable car for sale! In fantastic condition! No major repairs, no crashes or accidents. This car was owned by my grandma until 2021, 95% country kilometres in Tasmania then was brought up to Sydney 3 years ago and has been used as a city run around car. Selling as I'm moving overseas. I've never had any issues with the car, very reliable, pretty much serviced every 10,000 kms. We also added in a pioneer radio/bluetooth for music. It's got 6 months rego and ctp. WHAT TO LOOK OUT FOR: HYUNDAI ELANTRA (2011 TO 2015)

Plenty to like about the Elantra from a reliability point of view, backing up the reputation that Hyundai was trying hard to forge at this point in history.

On the interior, check that the steering wheel leather hasn't started to peel and make sure the silver highlights scattered around the cabin haven't begun to peel or flake off.

Check that the brake lights are working properly, as this was another problem for various Hyundais at this time. This was eventually traced back to a switch terminal in the wiring loom and could also lead to other problems including non-starting, inability to select a gear in the automatic version and even the cruise-control refusing to work.

Hyundai dealers were fitting a revised terminal to eliminate these problems.
