1988 FJ62 Sahara 3FE auto 12v import. Correct 3FE and a 12v import. 237 000kms Internally I've replaced the dash pad to a perfect one, cleaned up some wiring, removed all the carpet and seats and gave them a wash. Does need cargo space carpet. The sunroof works, but the central locking and power windows need further investigation (most likely switch). Original radio works. I bought this when I lived in SA a few years back and it was road registered there at the time. Shortly thereafter I moved to Vic and its done nothing except occasional farm work since then. Honestly I didn't want to go to the angst of trying to get it through the rego compliance system here in Vic although presumably it has been engineered given it was registered in SA. I don't have any paperwork regarding that. I would think its best use is ongoing farm/offroad work. It has a Commodore 253 V8

Awesome car. Mechanically sweet as. I did put new shockies and new front seat belts. New brakes. Edit: 2k worth Rust completed. Edit. All brakes fixed. Lights all fixed. Heaps stuff done. Spent about 6k on it in total. GOT ROAD WORTHY CERTIFIED. Just failed next RW due to needs new wiper pump , small oil leak back rear , key comes out while driving. This car will survive an apocalypse. ono . Make me an offer.
