FORD LASER Used Car Review

The Laser is a small car that was based on the Mazda 323 and introduced with immediate success in the early 1980s, thanks to sharp pricing, a spacious cabin and good driving manners. It was built in Australia until 1994, after which it was imported from Japan via Mazda. Laser's popularity faded in the 1990s, however, and the last-generation model lasted just three years before it was replaced by the European-sourced Focus in 2002.

Runs well. There is just a sting on the driver’s door. Doesn’t use much fuel. Bought 2 months ago in the Byron Shire area and used to go to work from Byron Bay to Bangalow. Need to sell as we are continuing our 1-year trip around Australia with a motorhome. We did the service (oil change, filters, etc.) just a week ago, so car comes fresh out of service. Rego until Sep 2024 already paid.
