RANGE ROVER Used Car Review
A more upmarket model to complement the utilitarian Series II Land Rover had long been planned before the Range Rover materialised finally in 1970. Featuring just three doors and a hose-out interior, the model effectively became the world's first luxury SUV when a five-door version was released in 1981. The iconic Range Rover has been getting posher ever since, and today's range includes long-wheelbase versions as well as higher-end variants designed to fend off challenges from rivals such as Bentley and Maserati.
