Holden Special Vehicles, the company behind go-faster Commodores, introduced the Clubsport badge in 1990 - representing the entry point to the HSV range. Across the years, it has been available in sedan and wagon (Tourer) forms and always powered by a V8 that continually grew in size and power before the final 6.2-litre (LS3) version. In its final years, an LSA version featured the 400kW supercharged V8 from the flagship GTS model, albeit in detuned form. Sales of the HSV Clubsport ended after Holden ceased local production of the Commodore in late 2017.
