Up for sale is my 1988 Pontiac Trans Am GTA. The GTA (Gran Turismo Americano) was the top of the range option package for the Firebird, and came with a range of cutting edge features and performance upgrades. This car was also fitted with a range of dealer and factory options. The car is powered by the original 5.7L V8 with Tuned Port Injection (L98), coupled to a 4 speed automatic (700R4) and 9-bolt Borg Warner differential. 1994 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am GT for sale! Factory 5.7 litre ‘LT1’ gen2 small block V8 mated to a 4l60e automatic transmission. Rated at 275hp/205kw when first sold. Paintwork is absolutely amazing for its age, only a few signs of wear. Very straight body. Runs absolutely amazing. Since I’ve had owned it, it has had a full transmission rebuild (2020), new optispark fitted, ICM, coil, fuel pump, leads, spark plugs, etc (2022) and the previous owner before me also carried out restoration work
