Over two successive generations, it has grown in size, added a third-row option (since 2007), and introduced a rear-wheel-drive variant (since 2013). One of BMW's biggest-selling models, the X5 range covers a broad spectrum of engines including an eco-focused hybrid and performance-biased M model.
