Three antique sterling silver spoons with monograms of a tiger on two of the spoons and a monogram of a bird wielding a sword on the third. The two spoons bearing the tiger monogram were made in London, 1816 by IP GP. The interesting one with the sword wielding bird was made in London in 1822 by W B (William Bateman). Six sterling silver monogrammed forks. Each bears a lion on its hind legs. Five of the six antique sterling silver forks were made in London in 1824 and the sixth which is marginally shorter) was made in London in 1822. All five bear the monogram of a lion. The sixth has a monogram of a tiger on its back. Each fork is approx 16.5 -17cms. Altogether they weigh 325grams Happy to post at buyer's expense.

The forks are monogrammed with the tigers and lions. The forks were made in 1816, 1822, and three in 1824. The monogram on the front of three of the forks is that of a lion. The other two bear the monogram of a tiger on the back of the fork. Altogether they weigh 395 grams. Happy to post at buyer's expense.

I am downsizing on a lot of my silverware so please check all my listings for antique silverware spoons and forks. These five fiddle back sterling silver forks also bear the lion monogram and altogether weigh 223 grams. Each fork measures 17.5x2.5cms. They bear the hallmarks for Exeter 1830s but I cannot make out the maker's initials. Please view the photos closely as they form part of the description.
