This copper boiler came out of my parents house built in 1961. It has a few dents, but is still watertight. It would polish up to a gleaming copper finish with a little effort. These can be used simply as a curio or as a container for firewood. Another novel use after it is polished, is to set it into a wooden frame and use it as a giant ice bucket for your party drinks. Very impressive.

This boiler is in near new condition. It is shiny 18/8 stainless steel, and has made many batches of fresh tomato sauce, and many batches of jams and fruit preserves. The base is a copper disc, so heat is distributed very evenly during cooking. It is not an induction pan, but it is one of the best pans to use on gas or ceramic hobs. It does an excellent job of frying off a mirepoix ( carrot, onion, celery) in clarified butter, prior to making vegetable soup. The capacity of this pot is about 6
