5 Vintage Small Silverplated Meat Serving Forks
Collection of 5 vintage/perhaps antique meat server forks. Most are silverplated although the silver has worn off the oldest 5-pronged one. That one was made by Mappin and Webb, silversmiths based in both London and Sheffield between about 1880 and 1920. Unfortunately, it has a crack in the faux bone-handle on one side too. Old Trident 3-Pronged Bone-Handled & Silverplated Bread Server Fork
Vintage faux bone-handled and silverplated trident style bread server fork. Note the stylish way the tines were designed and the carved end of the faux bone-handle. There are no marks to indicate where or by whom it was made but I would suggest it was made in England. It is in good condition and is about 216mm long. Postage is not included in price. 8 Old Pickle Forks Including Antique Silverplate With Nacre Handle
A variety of pickle forks of various ages, 6 of which are silverplated, one is chromium-plated and the other, zinc-plated. The fork with the nacre (mother-of-pearl) handle (far left in main photo) was made between 1901 and 1910 (the Edwardian period) and is in good condition for it's age ($30 if sold separately). Vintage 1949 18 Piece Walker & Hall Stirling Silver Set
18 pieces of stirling silver flatware hallmarked as having been made by cutlers Walker & Hall in Sheffield, England in 1949. The handle design is called Chippendale. It has been used but not much as all of the fork tines are the same length and not bent or misshapen at all. The soup spoons are 17cm long, the dinner forks 17.5cm, and the dessert spoons 18cm long. Vintage soft body beige and gold Glomesh small purse made in NSW in the 1970s. The mesh is beige enamel and the frame & clasp are gold enamel. It measures about 82mm high and 122mm wide at it's widest. The interior lining is a gold colour and the Glomesh label inside is gold printing on black (see last photo). Vintage soft body gold mesh small purse made in NSW by Glomesh in the 1970s. All hardware and mesh is gold enamel. It measures about 80mm high (excluding the clasp) and 125mm wide at it's widest.
