Wooden cot, plus change table on wheels. Mattress was purchased brand new 2 years ago and only used about a dozen times since then, because we bought it for when our baby grand kids stayed over, which was not very much. The cot is very strong and sturdy, however the up/down wall sliding mechanism is a bit tricky to use, has a slight hairline crack in it I think, which makes it difficult to lower the wall down, so we ended up not using that and just left the sides up 100% of the time.
