This fine bone China pattern is now retired . Produced between 1969 & 1998 in England. This ad is for 2 pieces. There is no loss of gold on the gently scalloped rim and gold is bright. No chips cracks or crazing - overall excellent given the age. 16cm diameter x 5cm high.

Ornate red floral/bird pattern on a white fluted background , with scalloping and a fine gold finish . Each piece is in excellent condition and look like they have not even been used . The pattern was produced from 1936 to 1997. The pieces in these sets were manufactured in 1946 and 1947 . The cup and saucer are a larger than normal size , being more of a breakfast cup and saucer and there is a lovely rope finish on the cup handle . There are 5 sets available . Manufactured in 1940 's in Australia . Stamped on base - ' Reproduction silverplate ' - indicating that the pieces are a copper base and silverplated ( lifetime quality plating) . The teaset is in remarkable condition - I have polished the pieces to do them justice in presentation. The set appears as though it was barely used or just displayed and cleaned occasionally - no dents , some small stains inside teapot . As with my other listing of forks , these are likewise new , but being from the 80's and just in storage I decided to give them a gentle clean to show their true quality . Very practical utensil with a touch of luxury in relaxed dining . I have retained its original box as well -although it is a bit tattered . This was top of the range silverplate made by Rodd .

Price listed is for each piece. These are new/old stock - not sure that the silverplated version is made any more . The pieces are from the 90's and the plating was deemed 'lifetime plate' . Hollow handled knives are more expensive to produce but more comfortable in the hand - only the handle on the knife is silverplated - the blade is stainless and also serrated . Classic elegant design that will complement other patterns if you are looking for some spare knives or to add to your set . P

Only ever been on display and then stored . All 4 pieces have a leaf/Rococco style open work decorating the platform base and is finished with the same trim on each of the finials . This is a vintage set from the nineties . There is no stamping of the brand onto the metal but there is a remnant of a sticker on one of the pots . A lot of manufacturers had ceased stamping the metal by the nineties . What is left of the label looks very similar to Stokes labels I have seen on other items . The

Early George Nilsson style Dutch pieces - early 1900’s . Superb quality ornate silver plate - sugar spoon , bread /cake fork and small serving/ sugar tongs . Stamping on back - D Gero 90 1pce & E Gero 90 2pcs indicating that 90gms of silver was used to plate 12 spoons & forks. This is very heavy ,quality plating but sadly from a bygone era . Wonderful condition- ornate designs are also practical since they do not show scratches or wear with use and maintain good appearance and presentation

Classic design (new/old stock) Balmoral is made of a nicely guaged 18/10 fluted, mirror finish stainless steel . The design is very practical as the fluting does not show up scratches over time as the plain finish does and stays looking good longer. 'Balmoral' is a discontinued pattern but is a very good complement to the Sant Andrea 'Viotti' design . 1 sold - this is the last set .
