Here we have a very cool piece. Perfect for the grandchildren to work/play on during visits. A Queensland State School desk, solid Silky Oak, the tops lift to revel the tidy box area. Top includes cuts outs for ink wells and a pencil depression. Great condition.

Old silky oak desk. In good used condition - front leg needs to be secured firmly and there are some minor scratches on the top - shown in photos. Could be used as is or sanded (top) and recoated. Silky oak desk restored with glass top (removable). 1500 x 900 Height 760 The desk has been restored by a professional furniture restorer . There are four drawers to on each side with centre seating area. We have had a glass top specifically made for the desk but this can be removed. Local pick up from Brisbane Northside (16km from CBD) Has been used as a computer writing desk, but now is no longer required . Lovely piece of furniture for an office.
