A very cool chest of solid timber drawers from the “Art School” range, purchased from Freedom. Sold as a buffet, but we used it as a dresser in our son’s room (see last photo - it’s served him well but sadly with his new big bed we just can’t fit it in his room anymore, it’s definitely a reluctant sale!) I am selling my dresser I’ve had for just over 20 years, paid $1000. it has a few dints, scratches and one drawer has a split through the middle with most of the handle missing. It’s solid pine wood. This petite vintage chest, with four drawers, is the perfect storage piece to brighten up a small space. Made in Australia by Alrob in 1974, it features the iconic recessed square handles. a solid cedar dressing table made in the 1950's by my father who was a carpenter cabinet maker. he stained it and finished the mirror in 1999. also affixed the brass handles. very well made by hand with dovetail drawers and turned legs plus only screwed and glued. 123cm long X 63cm deep X 81cm tall. the mirror comes off for moving and adds another 87cm in height. the stool is also cedar and was recovered in red velvet in 1999. cash on collection. in storage at south nowra.
