Antique Robert McNabs Scotland Hickory Shaft Putter Golf Club. Marked; Warranted Forged Made in Scotland Special Rustless Putter Robert McNab's and a crown mark. Antique Hickory Shaft Socket Wood by John Wisden & Co, Scotland 1906
Antique hickory shafted socket wood made by John Wisden's company in London. Wisden not only became famous for playing cricket for Sussex and publishing the Cricketer's Almanack but his company was also a significant maker of golf clubs. This club is called "The Royal" and Wisdens made these from 1906 to 1910. The club is approximately 112cm long and it has a wound leather grip.
