Japanese made Yamaha classical guitar. I dont know the exact age, but it has been in my family since 1977 and was my first guitar. Plays great, ideal for a beginner. A few small dings (given it is over 45 years old). Comes with a hard case in good condition. Pickup preferred (given it is bulky to ship).

Yamaha C-300 made in Japan between 1970s for the Japanese domestic market. A top of the line guitar in Yamaha's classical C-series after only the C400. Featuring a solid spruce top, and rosewood for the back/sides/bridge and mahogany neck with a super clean ebony fretboard. Bone nut and saddle, with gold hardware and pearloid tuners further enhancing this classical overall clean aesthetic. This Yamaha is in great condition but has some light scratching around the body, with a larger mark on

Lovely to play and sounds great. The yamaha C40 is the go-to starter guitar with perfect intonation, comfortable action. It has some blemishes on the wood finish, hence the bargain price. I re-stained the fingerboard and polished up the frets, lowered the strings and generally made sure it is nice to play. I've set the action to be beginner-friendly (it should not be a fight) but still high enough to play hard without turning into a sitar. :) Come give it a try.

Serial number in the photos, has a pick installed, works but very quite, new set of strings installed, few scratches, no case or gig bag.
