Renowned Finnish designer Eero Aarnio designed a lounge suite in the 1970s which was produced by Framac locally. This particular armchair from the suite is a beautiful example, upholstered in a mottle tan leather that is a lovely contrast with the chrome frame. A favourite at Alpha Modern, Robin Day was known for his playful designs and designed a range of bucket chairs for Hille furniture (UK) in the 1970s. This particular example features the rare chrome swivelling base which beautifully contrasts the ‘mission brown’ plastic bucket and ‘espresso’ upholstery.
