1 Results: farm work on cattle in Rockhampton Region, QLD

A general farm hand position is available on a mixed cropping, feedlot and grazing property in the Bell district of qld . Day to day work will include feeding cattle , feedlot duties spraying using a new John Deere spray rig , mustering on 4 wheelers using working dogs , cropping using zero till practices for summer and winter using gps guidance general property maintenance , development using loaders, dozer and fencing gear. There is a 3 bedroom unfurnished house available on the property .

A position is available to work with the farm manager at various cattle properties around Gympie (Mcintosh Ck, Pie Ck, Curra, Nahrunda, Tamaree). Duties include: - Fencing (maintenance and construction) , - Irrigation setup, - Tractor work including slashing, - Mowing, - Brush cutting, - Mechanical spraying from a buggy, - General cattle work. This is a long term position of approx 40 hrs a week Monday - Friday. Pay is in accordance with the Pastoral award, based on experience level.
