Two very rare vintage 1940s Australian Home Journals from July 2nd 1945 and August 1st 1947 with illustrations of lovely 40s fashions, knitting patterns, recipes, film and stage news, advice, romantic fiction and great period adverts including cute colour Arnotts ones. They give a wonderful insight into Australia during the Second World War and the post-WW2 recovery period. The magazines are in good vintage condition with general age related wear and tear including browning of the paper pages.
