1978 Yamaha DT400
An absolute unicorn and the closest you can probably get to a new DT400 in 2024! In excellent condition and fully restored with an engine rebuild approximately 3 years and 305km ago, the bike runs great always starting first or second kick and with a fully functioning auto-decompression and Yamaha Autolube pump. The bike has been in my ownership for the past two years but is now up for sale due to lack of time to use it. The lack of use demonstrated by the bobbles still present on the tyres!

PE250 comes with new in box Gilimoto fuel tank. Also have a few spares, turn signal, speedo etc. Bike has been sitting in storage for the last two years. Previous owner has done the following: All new bearings, seal's, Boyesen Reeds, new inlet manifold rubber, new carby to airbox boot, new air filter, cables, wheel bearings, tyres front and back, gripper seat cover. Bore is second over, nos side covers. The bike has been out 3 to 4 times since prev owner built it.

Perfect bike for beginners all the way to experienced riders I would keep it just have no time to ride it with roughly 65 hours the hour metre stopped at 55. Has plenty of mods to the bike such as: Hinson clutch cover Asv unbreakable levers Yoshimura exhaust Titanium Pivot foot pegs Upgraded seat cover.
