It was not used much. At first I used it but soon purchased a full sized 88key. Though I kept it because of the midi connection, being able to use it with iPad apps via midi usb. More recently purchased some FLKEY midi keyboards. Never needed much volume the internal amp and speakers are plenty powerful. With 61 keys it is a great asset. It has a detachable music stand, takes batteries for power (6xAA sized) as well as mains power connection via a power supply that comes with the unit as shown
