Druva, horizontal, double band drive, spinning wheel. This has been fully restored and ready to use. It has been fitted with a Tarra Flyer and re-engineered with sizes to suit the wheel. It is double band drive and comes complete with four bobbins, threading hook and Lazy Kate with drag to prevent over run when plying.

My mum actually used this to spin wool during the 1970-80's. She was very dexterous and loved all facets of knitting. It was an antique then and has remained in the family room ever since, looking lovely but too challenging for me. Pick up only.

For sale is a beautiful vintage or antique Ashford spinning wheel which was made in New Zealand. It would make a fantastic and very aesthetic display piece. It’s roughly 855mm tall and 730mm long. The spinning wheel will still turn and the foot pedal works but I don’t believe it could be used fully without restoration or repair. There is wear/crumbling/rust to the leather straps and spindle. Pick up only please.
