Little curry leaf trees in pots. Various heights (30 - 50 cm)
Little curry leaf trees, more than 2 years old, grown from seeds. Tallest are about 50 cm tall. Some have flowered and produced berries already. They do well in hot weather with plenty of water. They don’t grow much in winter and sometime lose their leaves, but new leaves emerge in spring to early summer. The leaves add a unique flavour to curries and other dishes.

King ferns in pots - medium to large
King fern, 3 medium to large (fronds 80 cm long) in large pots, varying diameter from 25 to over 40 cm; 1 smaller, younger plant.. The rhizomes are often furry when young and above ground. The ferns were raised from spores, starting 40 yrs ago, and have proliferated in a shady spot in the garden. They don’t do well in the direct summer sun, but grow well in the shade (or under 50 % shade cloth) even in hot weather provided they are given enough water. Cocos Palms in Pots
One of the faster-growing palms which withstands cold weather better than most palms, the Cocos when well-watered and maintained is a beautiful palm. It will grow to at least 10m but is not self-cleaning so regular maintenance is required to keep it attractive. We have 3 specimens 1.5m high in 200mm pots.

Bangalow Palms in Pots
Native to Australia the Bangalow is an attractive palm which is self-cleaning (sheds old leaves) so is easier to care for. It loves a good drink and will grow to around 10m high in Perth, although in the tropics they will grow much taller. We have 2 specimens around 1.5m high in 320mm pots.

Golden Cane Palms in Pots
The Golden Cane Palm is one of the most popular palms around. It has a clumping growth habit, along with very attractive yellow canes and feathered green fronds. It prefers bright, indirect light. If planted in a pot indoors, place it near a window that receives bright, filtered light and do not over-water. It makes a great indoor plant but it can be planted in the garden as a screen or specimen plant. One of ours is around 7m high. We have 2 specimens, around 1.5m high in 320mm pots.

Shell Ginger Plants in Pots
Alpinia zerumbet, commonly known as shell ginger, is a perennial species of ginger native to East Asia. Great as a landscaping plant it can grow up to 2.5 to 3 meters tall and bears colourful pink and white, shell-shaped flowers. It is best grown in part shade, at least with a little protection from full midday sun. 5 plants in 350mm pots.

MURRAYA PANICULATA IN POTS
Also known as Orange Jessamine. Shrubs can grow quite tall but are easily trimmed to form a hedge. Flowers are produced prolifically several times a year and have a heady, orange blossom perfume. 60 well-grown, sun-hardened plants in 150mm pots. We also have 13 larger specimens in 180mm pots at $15 each. In addition we have 11 dwarf Murrayas, with a much smaller leaf and growth habit, at $10 each. The flowers have the same wonderful perfume.

BANANA PALM
A suckering plant which needs a little room. Once the plant has fruited it will be the next sucker which will fruit.We have had some success in getting bananas from our plants where they have some protection from wind. Small, sweet fruit. The perfect lunchbox banana! They need to be grown in the sun if they are to fruit. 1 plant in a 300mm pot is available. Well-grown and sun-hardened. The bunch of bananas in the photos is one that is currently on our own large palm.
