Stihl MS 170 Mini Boss Chainsaw. About 5 years old. Serviced regularly at stihl shop caloundra. Only ever used for light work around the garden and once for cutting up some hardwood for the fire after i moved house. Have since upgraded to the 251, and i don't need this little guy anymore, hence reason for sale. Chain will need a sharpen but also comes with a spare one which is brand new. Starts first time and runs well.

Quality Vintage Chainsaw, runs well and cuts well , plenty of grunt. Some anti vibration rubbers need to be replaced, easily purchased via eBay.

Surplus to needs. Block has been honed and a NOS honda piston fitted. Lapped valves New exhaust rocker arm, valve seal. New front crank seal New airbox, choke setup. No longer have the time to finish this project. These usually sell for 600-800 dollars in working order. Unsure if the genset part works as I've never run it with it attached. Old school 65cc chainsaw. Freshly serviced with new 20” bar and chain, new air filter and spark plug, sprocket and bearing. Runs hard, not used any more, too many saws, it’s just sitting in the shed. Hard carry case and file as well.cheers.

A good original example of one of stihl's bigger saws. Saw starts and runs good. Has good compression , hangs off the start cord. Has new genuine 25" ES bar and chain.
