Vintage Magnavox 6.5" 8Ohms 2 way alnico(?) speakers. Bought for a Vox Pathfinder amp project but too big. Made in Australia I woukd say 60's or 70's. Magnet caps and baskets in Exc condition with no scratches or dents. Some wear and tear to paper cones and will need repairs (rubber cement and patching or reconing). Untested but should be ok. Good for music project or vintage car resto.

Hi all, I have here my vintage pair of Mission Argonaut speakers, built in UK. They have cosmetic wear from over the decades but sound amazing still. They don’t make them today like they used to. A pair of huge vintage Alnico JBL 2 inch compression drivers and matching 2385A horn flares. These weigh more than 11kg each. They are in ok, not great, cosmetic condition: definitely showing their age and the horns have been repaired, but functionally good. These are midrange drivers with a recommended 500Hz crossover frequency, benefitting from the addition of a super-tweeter for that last octave above 10kHz. One driver is a 2440 and the other a 2441. Rare JBL XE-6 vintage 3 way speakers. All original drivers and grilles, excellent condition for the age, woofers' surrounds also in great shape (original, moulded onto the basket)! Great sound!
