Vintage Pioneer AS-305A 3 way 8 ohm 60W kit speakers 1970 These are really something! They are the equivalent of the CS-A50 production model. Homebuilt to high spec around this very nice Pioneer kit. The cases have been well built in 20mm particle board. Glued, screwed and nailed. All working very well and in clean condition. Athena speakers were made by the same Canadian company who produced Mirage as well as Energy speakers. Apparently Klipsch owns the parent company now. I rate Mirage floorstanders very highly and these Athena’s sound very similar. Subwoofer is a 400W unit with a 10” downward firing driver and port. There is also a front port with volume control and rear high-level and line inputs plus a crossover adjustment. Power switch has an auto standby option.
