Stunning sterling silver marrow or crustacean scoop hallmarked as made in 1977 by Francis Howard, a silver and goldsmith in Sheffield, England. It is displayed in a red and black leather box with a gold coloured border and set in red velvet with white satin padding. Antique crocodile skin purse hallmarked by William Hutton in London in 1900. It has sterling silver tabs on the corners of the front flap of the purse, each of which is inset with 3 torquoise studs. I haven't found out much about R F Morley & Co except that they were registered in the Sheffield Assay Office in 1886 (page 451 of Jackson's Silver and Gold Marks). A beautiful set of sterling silver knives with the outstanding Albany patterned handles.The hallmarks show the knives were made by Walker & Hall in Sheffield, England in 1902-03 (crown, lion passant, year letter k) = (Sheffield, sterling silver, 1902-03) and a triangular flag with W&H within it = Walker & Hall. They are about 17cm long knives and they weigh 164 grams. The price includes postage and handling costs.
