Antique 19th Century Cedar Writing Box Colonial writing box made of cedar with huon pine trim, 55 x 39 x 20cm, with metal handles and brass plaque "CHS", fitted with writing board, three small drawers and several compartments. Collection of 5 vintage/perhaps antique meat server forks. Most are silverplated although the silver has worn off the oldest 5-pronged one. That one was made by Mappin and Webb, silversmiths based in both London and Sheffield between about 1880 and 1920. Unfortunately, it has a crack in the faux bone-handle on one side too. Antique 3-pronged faux bone-handled and silverplated bread server fork with a sterling silver collar made by Yates Brothers (silver collar) and Chris Johnson & Co (everything else) in Sheffield in 1923. Note that the outer tines point outwards and that the faux bone-handle has a ridge running the length of the handle on both sides. It is in good condition and is about 190mm long. Possibly antique, ornate mother-of-pearl handled 3 pronged silverplate bread serving fork made by Chris Johnson & Co at the Western Works, Portobello in Sheffield between about 1923 and 1927. A variety of pickle forks of various ages, 6 of which are silverplated, one is chromium-plated and the other, zinc-plated. The fork with the nacre (mother-of-pearl) handle (far left in main photo) was made between 1901 and 1910 (the Edwardian period) and is in good condition for it's age ($30 if sold separately). Ornate pair of silverplate salad servers made between 1898 and 1912 by James Allen and Sidney Darwin at Portland Works in Sheffield. Those silversmiths had been working in London before their move to Portland Works in Sheffield. The Gothic "S" on the back of each handle signifies Sheffield. Both the "A&D" and the hourglass symbol were the marks of those silversmiths during that period. The spoon is 22cm long and the fork 21cm. Postage is not included in price. Very old silverplate sauce or gravy ladle made between 1900 to 1925 in good condition. It has A1 on the back of the handle as well as "J A N S" (see last photo). A1 is used by English cutlers on silverplate to indicate to indicate superior quality epns (= silverplate = electronically plated nickel silver). Antique sterling silver gravy ladle made by John Hampton and John Prince silversmiths who started operating in York around 1770. The hallmarks on the back ofvthe curved handle indicate it was made in York in 1796 and so, is over 220 years old. There is a very slight dimple on the right hand side of the bowl of the spoon and I have included extra photos to try and show this The ladle is about 16cm long and weighs 56 grams. Antique sterling silver teaspoon with a fiddle pattern handle made by John Sutter, Chester, UK in 1854. It is in good condition, is14cm long, and weighs 23 grams. Postage is not included in price. Pickup in Canberra for cash.

Antique Victorian era black and white enamel griddle. The handle (29cm long) has blue enamel on both sides whereas the griddle has white enamel (very crazed) on the top and blue enamel underneath. The crazing is to be expected for something over 100 years old. The griddle measures 28cm across and 35cm long (excluding the handle). It has 4 legs and stands 6cm high at the front and 4cm at the handle end every the fat collecting basin is situated. Postage is not included in price. Pickup in Canber

Two antique stirling silver teaspoons with fiddle pattern handles made in London in 1845. They were possibly made by London silversmiths Samuel Hawood and David Calver. There is a worn C engraved on the front of each handle and the fronts of the bowls are well worn (see last photo). They weigh 51 grams.

Antique small stirling silver teaspoon with small bowl made by London silver and goldsmith, John Beldon, in 1806. The hallmarks are very clear and the spoon is in excellent condition for something over 200 years old. It has the initials HA in cursive upper case on the front of the handle. It weighs 12 grams.
