Engine recently pulled down by Yamaha Master Technician, with both fifth gears (main and countershaft) being replaced (see photos). He confirmed no top end work was necessary.. Very rare classic bike. I think its a grey import, adjusted so its fully registered easily in all states. It’s basically a race bike registered on the road. These models at my purchase timewere very high prices, and ive had it serviced a lot. 1987 Yamaha SDR200. It has the DT200R engine in a road frame. 34 HP two-stroke, watercooled, YPVS, crankcase reed induction, single cylinder with 17" wheels and kerb weight of 105 kg. Reason for selling is that it is more suited for a rider up to 70kgs not my 90 kgs. It is currently on NSW conditional registration which is not transferrable. I Will only respond to phone calls.
