Grøndahl, a figurine maker for the Royal Danish Porcelain Factory, and the Bing brothers, art and book dealers, created Bing & Grndahl on April 15, 1853. The factory was on the corner of Vesterbrogade and Rahbek Allé in the Vesterbro neighbourhood of Copenhagen, Denmark, during the time.
