- Two 1950s Wembley Ware Milk Boilers/Savers made in Western AustraliaPostage in Australia is extra. Cash if picking up locally in Canberra. My grandmothers and mother used to use these porcelain milk boilers when boiling milk to stop the pan from overflowing and it worked. Sometimes they would continue to simmer the milk after it had boiled then put it in the fridge where the cream would come to the top and you could skim it off to have some on your cornflakes in the summer or your porridge in the winter. - Antique 4 Piece French Silver and Silverplate Hors D'Oeuvre Set C1880Postage is extra. Cash if picking up locally in Canberra. 4 piece antique French hors d'oeuvres set made around 1880. The handles are silverplated with perhaps some steel content under the plating because they stick to a magnet. However, the neck and heads of the trident fork, the slotted spoon, the pate knife and the slotted server are, I believe, made of silver. They are totally unaffected by a strong magnet.
