SMALL MARBLE BLOCK as a GEOLOGICAL SAMPLE or for SCULPTING

13 x COLLECTABLE VINTAGE BUTTONS

Metal buttons began to be manufactured in the 18th century. Most military dress uniform buttons are made of metal and older ones are highly collectable. It seems that leather football buttons began to be issued in the British and Australian Armies late in 1916 and were part of an effort to use less brass, which was an important commodity for shell production. It was all part of a concerted effort to conserve vital war materiel and find other, innovative ways of doing things. Metal trouser or br
